The challenge
Licence keys were tracked in a spreadsheet. There was no way to tell whether a key was in use, on how many domains, or whether a refunded customer still had a working installation.
What we built
We built a licence manager with an activation API, per-licence device and domain limits, expiry handling, and an admin portal with role separation between super, manager and support staff. A ticketing module was added so buyers get support without a separate tool.
The outcome
Licences are now issued, revoked and audited from one screen, and every activation attempt is logged against the key that made it.
